Britney Officially Rehearsing "Piece Of Me" In Vegas

Britney began rehearsing her "Piece of Me" show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

For the first time, Brit performed her set on the PH Live stage to run the technical and costume rehearsals. “She has the show down, and today all the bells and whistles are added — the incredible, never-before-seen video wall effects, the stage and the sound effects,” a source tells the Las Vegas Sun.

“It’s an amazing show. It’s intimate and close up for fans. It’s better than you have ever expected from Britney. It’s one of the largest indoor immersive stage productions in the world creating what will be the most cutting-edge pop concert experience ever produced for Las Vegas. Her new theater is an absolute first for America and maybe the world.”


“It’s all coming together now as one big piece,” Britney said in a Q & A last week during her media tour before her welcome event. “There are so many things going on in the show. We haven’t done it with the clothes, and we haven’t done it with all the water gags and all the quick changes yet. It’s a one-of-a-kind completely different from any show I’ve ever done. It’s definitely the hardest and probably the funnest, too."

Brit says of the string of shows:
“It’s actually really funny because it’s something that I’ve always wanted to do. It’s something that I’ve always kind of had in the back of my mind that I’ve always wanted to do, but I’ve never really followed through with it. Finally I took a grip on it and said this is what I want to do.”
